Claudia Sprenger

Claudia Sprenger is a senior researcher and project coordinator at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights in the “Human Rights in Development Cooperation and Business” team. Her primary fields of research include business and human rights, rights of persons with disabilities, development cooperation, labour rights and the human rights-based approach.

Before joining the institute she worked among others as a programme and project manager for SOS-Children’s Villages International. She joined the BIM in 2008, where she is currently involved in research related to dispute settlement in the field of business and human rights and access to justice of persons with disabilities.

Claudia has a background in science of education and disability studies (from the University of Vienna) and in Academic Orient Studies.
